Dub Techno is a minimalist subgenre of electronic music blending Detroit techno's rhythm with Jamaican dub's atmospheric, delay-heavy production techniques. Emerging in early-1990s Berlin, it is characterized by deep basslines, hypnotic, repetitive 4/4 beats (110 - 130 BPM), and washed-out, echoing chord stabs. Synonyms include Berlin Techno, Deep Dub, or sometimes Deepchord-style.
